The Role
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Butcher to join our team at Mill Close Farm. You'll play a key role in preparing our full range of meat products to the exceptional standard our customers expect, from traditional cuts to bespoke orders for our farm shop, wholesale, and hospitality trade customers.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well as part of a close-knit team, and shares our passion for quality, provenance, and traditional butchery skills.
What You'll Bring
- A genuine passion for butchery, with a positive, driven, can-do attitude
- Excellent knife skills and strong knowledge of meat cuts
- A relevant qualification in butchery
- At least 1 year's experience in a butchery role
- The ability to work in a tidy, safe, and organised manner
- Reliability and punctuality — these are essential to how we work as a team
Working Hours
Early starts suit this role well: 5am to lunchtime, Monday to Friday, and 5am to 9am on Saturday. Finish your working day at lunchtime.
