£16.00 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay
Basic rate: £14.28 per hour + £1.72 holiday pay = £16.00 per hour
£0.40 per mile mileage allowance

Home Care Wales is a growing, family-run domiciliary care provider based on Anglesey. We provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to people in their own homes.
We are currently looking for full-time and part-time Home Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.
Applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends as part of the rota.

The role
As a Home Care Assistant, you will support people to remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible within their own homes.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care
- Toileting and continence support
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Supporting with medication in accordance with care plans
- Assisting with mobility and the safe use of equipment
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting people with everyday tasks within their home
- Observing and reporting any changes in a service user's wellbeing
- Maintaining clear and accurate electronic care records
Full training will be provided for the duties you are expected to undertake.
What we are looking for
You do not necessarily need previous care experience. We are particularly interested in people who are:
- Caring, compassionate and respectful
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to communicate well with service users, families and colleagues
- Comfortable working independently in the community
- Willing to undertake training and supervised shadow shifts
- Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as part of the rota
- Able to work morning and/or afternoon/evening care rounds
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
Welsh-language skills are welcomed but are not essential.
