Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the factory are kept hygienic and free of debris, supporting the overall efficiency and safety of operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine cleaning of factory floors, machinery, and workstations to uphold health and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with cleaning tasks, including scrubbing, sweeping, and polishing surfaces
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to cleanliness and organisation of the factory environment
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure waste bins are regularly emptied
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or repairs needed
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards within the workplace
- Support other team members in maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or basic maintenance is advantageous
- Knowledge of construction or industrial cleaning processes is desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety procedures
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication skills to effectively follow instructions and collaborate with team members
