The Opportunity
An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Reach Truck Operative to join our team at our Evesham Depot in Worcestershire.
The Role
- Operating a reach truck in multiple chambers in line with health and safety requirements.
- Taking responsibility for the rotation of stock, placement of new stock and ensuring pallets have batch labels.
- Being proactive and creating space within chambers in preparation for future deliveries.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the warehouse.
- Working together and communicating well with others in your team to prioritise jobs within the role and ensure the operation runs smoothly.
- Operating a PPT to unload lorries into the QC area, accurately counting each arrival and signing CMRs accordingly.
- Assisting the QC team to split pallets down to be QC checked and, should they pass the QC check, moving the pallets to their relevant chamber.
- Accurately loading both internal and external HGVs by their desired departure times with the already-picked orders and securing the load safely for dispatch.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 months’ experience operating PPTs and reach trucks in a busy warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in varied warehouse environments, including cold and humid conditions.
