Business Administrator Apprenticeship

We have a fantastic opportunity working at a charity supporting the deaf community as a business administrator apprentice at our client’s office in Ilford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in administration. This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled administrator whilst gaining valuable experience in an upbeat environment.
Apprenticeship: Business Administrator Level 3
Working hours: Monday – Friday
30 hours per week with an additional 5 hours a week of practice to learn BSL.
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £8 per hour
Package includes:
- Complete a fully funded qualification
- Spend at least 6 of your contracted working hours studying towards your apprenticeship

Our client is a charity who support the deaf community. Established in 2009 they ar4e focused on the deaf community and advocating and educating the wider public. The team is rapidly growing, and they are looking to expand their Ilford office with a business administrator apprentice. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with staff members/deaf clients in BSL (which you will be taught)
- Provide diary management support where required
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Screen calls and face to face enquiries
- Coordinate meetings and take minutes
- Follow up on actions taken from meetings
- Support with event planning and organisation
- Project work including research
- Administering fundraising and donations
- Deal appropriately with correspondence
- Maintain emails and mail where required
- Produce reports and presentations
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
- To not already hold a business administration qualification at level 3 or above
- To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
- To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
