Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our vibrant dessert shop team in various roles, including Kitchen Staff and Team Members. This is a full-time/ part time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional sweet treats and customer service. Duties
- Prepare a variety of desserts and sweet treats following established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter, providing friendly and professional service
- Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas throughout shifts
- Manage stock levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Support the management team with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or within a restaurant/Takeaway environment is essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients effectively
- Experience in kitchen operations or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- A friendly attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends if required; punctuality is essential
