Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THROUGHOUT JULY AND AUGUST 2026
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food and beverage preparation
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout your shift
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
- Restock supplies as required to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is essential in a busy enviroment
- Experience in serving customers with a friendly and professional manner
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
