HGV Class 1 & 2 Delivery Driver

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime

Key Requirements
- Licence: Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E), valid CPC, and Digital Tachograph card.
- Experience: Proven background transporting, loading, and unloading self-propelled plant equipment.
- Skills: Expert at safely operating heavy machinery for loading and securing heavy loads (chaining/strapping).
- Knowledge: Strong UK road network familiarity for efficient routing.
The Role
Join our specialist team for the nationwide delivery of high-value plant equipment. This is a hands-on role (not trunking) requiring mechanical sympathy and a professional attitude.
- Operations: Safely drive, load, unload, and secure machinery to the highest safety standards.
- Logistics: Plan efficient UK-wide routes to meet client deadlines.
- Admin: Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks, logging, and delivery paperwork.
