Food & Beverage Manager

About the Role:
We’re hiring a motivated and hands on Food & Beverage Manager to join our leadership team at Hampton by Hilton Corby. In this key position, you will act as a Shift Leader, ensuring smooth day to day food and beverage operations while leading from the front.
You will work closely with senior management to help drive revenue, improve guest satisfaction, and keep the F&B department running efficiently. This role requires someone confident in both service and kitchen environments, with a strong grasp of team leadership and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of food and beverage service as the Shift Leader during assigned shifts
- Supervise and support the team during breakfast and evening meal service
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals as needed to maintain service levels and quality
- Ensure all F&B operations run smoothly and in line with brand standards
- Coach, train, and lead team members to consistently deliver excellent guest experiences
- Oversee stock management, ordering, deliveries, and supplier relationships
- Maintain health, hygiene, safety, and licensing standards
- Collaborate with senior management to develop promotions, packages, and upselling strategies
- Monitor F&B performance and contribute to plans that increase revenue and reduce costs
- Handle guest feedback confidently and professionally, resolving any issues on shift
- Maintain clear communication between departments to support operational success
Requirements:
- Experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or management role
- Proven ability to lead shifts and coordinate a team in a fast paced hospitality environment
- Strong cooking or kitchen background
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Good business sense and awareness of revenue-driving opportunities
- Personable, professional, and focused on delivering a great guest experience
- Must be 18 or over (due to alcohol handling and shift patterns)
- Able to work both morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
