Job Description:
We are looking for a picker/packer to join our team. As a Picker/Packer at Edgefield Craft Butchers, you will be responsible for preparing orders and packing a variety of meats, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation for our clients. You will work closely with our team to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring that each order is prepared to exacting standards. Their may be an opportunity to progress into butchery if desired skills and correct work ethic is shown.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate orders
- Ensure quality and consistency across all orders, maintaining the highest standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and communicate needs to management
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and handle equipment with care
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and ensure efficient order fulfilment
Qualifications:
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with precision
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Familiarity with food hygiene and safety standards
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude
