Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Flexi Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- · Safe use of all FLT on site.
- · Supply of components in ready to use format for all production areas.
- · Picking and packing of orders.
- · Delivery of product via company van.
- · Placing finished stock in BC and general label printing
- · Operating manual, semi automatic and automatic machinery/equipment
- · Maintenance and cleanliness of machinery/equipment to standard
- · Unloading and loading of deliveries/Pick-ups.
- · Stock transfer internal to the factory, FIFO system.
- · Housekeeping of materials stored in the warehouse and factory racking – adhering to 5S standards.
- · Removal and put away of finished goods from all departments.
- · Accurate stock holding of stock at the East Bank Road facility.
- · Daily use of IOC boards to highlight any discrepancies/issues
- · Liaising with other department/support functions for solutions
- · Stock take experience
- · Other factory floor duties
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Math and English GCSE or equivalent
Essential competencies
- · Experience in warehouse or factory environment.
- · Good housekeeping.
- · Attention to detail.
- · Self-motivated.
- · Self-Managing.
- · Can do attitude.
- · Health and safety Knowledge.
- · Clean driving license category B
Desirable competencies
Hours 8.15am- 16.:45pm Mon-Fri
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
