The Union Inn, Aylestone is a well‑appointed, wet‑led local just 50 yards off the High Street. It’s lively from open to close with a loyal regulars’ base, plus a comfortable lounge that’s popular with families and couples in the evenings and at weekends. The site benefits from a courtyard smoking area, a sun‑trap beer garden that comes into its own in summer, and a large car park.
Sport is at the heart of the offer - which will only expand following the planned major investment which will transform this pub into a Marston's Grandstand pub.
The Union Inn draws strong crowds for live football and rugby, and it’s a recognised focal point for Leicester City matchdays—while being welcoming to all fans for all games. You’ll also find a following for darts and pool - so an operator with a passion for sports is essential. The pub will offer a Marston's company menu, so food experience is also a requirement.
Currently the pub is 100% achieving sales of £8,000 weekly - which is set to increase post-capex and with the introduction of the Marston's menu.

What’s in it for you?
- 22% share of weekly sales (excluding VAT) plus a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25K (released weekly)
- Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (*deposits can vary dependant on business – ask us for more details*)
- Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License (*a fee may be payable for some services such as garden maintenance)

Lily helps us move quickly, keep things flexible for you, and create a more consistent candidate experience, but one thing you should know – all hiring decisions are still made by our people.
