Working with our administration team, you’ll help people access the right care at the right time so they receive the support they need. Based within GP practices and the Care Navigation Hub, you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and visitors, playing an important role in creating a positive experience and supporting high-quality patient care. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure appointments, records and enquiries are managed efficiently and accurately.
What you’ll do:
Welcome patients and respond to enquiries in person, by telephone and through other communication channels
Signpost people to the most appropriate services and appointments following agreed care pathways
Coordinate appointments, records and documentation using electronic systems to support smooth service delivery
Maintain accurate information, handle confidential records safely and support administration processes
Work flexibly with colleagues to help maintain service coverage and support continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
Experience in an office, administration or customer service setting, or equivalent transferable skills
Strong communication and customer care skills, with the ability to handle enquiries professionally and sensitively
Good organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
Confidence using Microsoft Word and digital systems
A team-focused approach and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high standards of service
