Summary
The Governors of Saint Marys RC Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate TA3 to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a mixed Year 3 and 4 classroom and will cover one lunch duty per week (12-1pm).
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) who:

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience of working with children in KS2
- Commitment to undertake inservice development
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people
Desirable Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Ability to support and enhance children's learning in a KS2 classroom
- Ability to relate well to children and to parents/carers
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to supervise and assist pupils
- Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of Special Educational Needs
- Experience of supporting the ethos and mission statement in a Catholic school
