HOUSEKEEPER, LIVE IN, FULL-TIME - Gloucestershire, UK
Job Description: A warm and welcoming family with two young children is looking for a full-time housekeeper to live on the property at the family’s country house in Gloucestershire. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail and a collaborative way of working.
Requirements: The housekeeper is responsible for the effective and efficient running and maintenance of the household and will report to the Chef, who is ultimately in charge of the house
- Laundry duties, including clothes and other household fabrics
- Fabric maintenance duties, including pressing, sewing and fabric upkeep
- Family-facing duties including setting tables, welcoming guests and serving when needed
- Kitchen duties, including supporting the household chef with cooking and cleaning
- Errands and other ad hoc duties, including picking/dropping off at the train station, and grocery shopping
- Access to vehicles at the property will be provided for work-related needs
Working Hours: Thursday to Monday from 8 am to 4 pm
Salary Offered: £38,000 gross per annum
Accommodation: One-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage on the property
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £38,000.00 per year
