Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in London.
This role will involve supporting residential construction and development projects through surveying, estimating, cost control, procurement, and commercial management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management and development team to support projects from initial pricing through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing project estimates and quotations
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Conducting site surveys and measurements
- Assisting with budgeting and cost control
- Procurement of materials and subcontractor packages
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams
- Monitoring project costs and variations
- Supporting project planning and delivery
- Maintaining accurate project and commercial records
- Dealing with clients inquires and leads
Qualifications
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Construction-related roles
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and project delivery
- Ability to prepare and interpret project estimates and budgets
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/project management software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Understanding of procurement, cost control, and supplier coordination
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Degree or background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field is advantageous
- Previous experience in residential construction projects is beneficial
