Day shift - Monday-Friday
10:00am- 18:30pm
based off a 40 HR Week

About The Role
Duties/responsibilities:
We are seeking a new Transport Planner to lead our Route planning for Rigid (x 14) and Articulated vehicles (x4). We use a software planning Tool named Paragon to structure the plan, with manual input encouraged to get full efficiency of routes.
Responsibilities based but not limited too –
· Plan Efficient routes for both Multi Drop Rigids and General Trunking Articulated Vehicles on a Day 1 Day 3 Basis and Day 1 Day 2 basis
· Plan and organize Inbound Collection/Delivery schedules
· Approach Subcontractors to organize any additional resource needed after both D1D3 and D1D2 plan
· Work Closely with the Customer Service Team to manage orders/collections
· Drive synergy and work with separate contracts to drive revenue through other contracts based in and around the office/depots
· Work closely within our P&L to drive internal revenue
· Report plans/schedule to our customer and create internal spreadsheets for accurate record keeping and reporting purposes
· Work closely with Transport Supervisor to create accurate KPIs that are then reported to the customer
