About Us
We're a home improvement specialist, helping customers transform their homes with quality windows, doors, and glazing solutions. Our showroom is the heart of the customer experience, and we're looking for someone exceptional to be at the centre of it.
About the Role
This is a key front-of-house position where you'll be the first voice customers hear on the phone and the first face they see when they walk through the door. You'll keep our Sales team organised, surveyor diaries running smoothly, and our customers feeling genuinely well looked after, plus enjoy an early finish every Friday.
If you're the kind of person who takes pride in being organised, loves a busy day, and gets genuine satisfaction from helping people, this role was made for you.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in our showroom with an always warm, professional, and helpful approach
- Book and manage appointments for surveys, sales visits, installations, and showroom consultations
- Manage surveyor and Sales team diaries, keeping schedules accurate and up to date
- Maintain accurate customer records, diary entries, quotations, and notes in our CRM system (AdminBase)
- Support the Sales team with day-to-day admin, including saving and printing quotations
- Respond to customer enquiries clearly and promptly, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Hours
- Monday – Wednesday: 09:00–18:00
- Thursday: 09:00–17:30
- Friday: 09:00–16:30
Occasional weekend cover may be required to cover staff holidays. This is rare and always arranged well in advance.
What We're Looking For
- A confident, friendly communicator, especially on the phone and face-to-face
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks calmly in a busy environment
- Previous experience in customer service or sales administration
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems. Experience with AdminBase or Sage is a bonus, but full training is provided
- Reliable, team-focused, and able to work independently when needed
Why Join Us?
- A close-knit, supportive team where your contribution genuinely matters
- A varied, busy role where no two days are the same
- Early finish every Friday
- Full training on our systems and processes, with support for your development as the role grows
- A stable, established business with a great showroom environment
