Senior Project Planner – Flood Alleviation Scheme

Onshore Technical are currently looking to speak with experienced Senior Project Planners for a permanent opportunity in Oxford.
The role will support the delivery of a major Flood Alleviation Scheme for the Environment Agency and would suit someone with a strong civil engineering background and solid Primavera P6 experience.
This is a live project delivery role, requiring someone who can work closely with site, project and commercial teams to develop, update and maintain accurate project programmes.
The Role
As Senior Project Planner, you will support project planning, programme development, progress monitoring and reporting across a major civil engineering scheme.
You will be responsible for maintaining the project programme, supporting delivery teams with sequencing and planning, tracking progress, identifying programme risks and providing clear reporting to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6
- Support the planning and delivery of a major civil engineering scheme
- Work closely with project, site and commercial teams
- Monitor progress against programme and report key updates
- Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities
- Support construction sequencing and short-term planning
- Assist with progress reporting, forecasting and project controls
- Provide planning input to support delivery and commercial management
Experience Required
- Senior planning experience within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Experience supporting live project delivery
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and programme risk
- Flood alleviation, water, environmental, civils or infrastructure experience desirable
- Confident working with site teams, project managers and commercial teams
- Strong communication and reporting skills
