We are currently recruiting for experienced chefs and bar staff. With vacancies in the Hemlington and Billingham areas
Duties
- Chefs to prepare and cook a variety of menu items, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Bar staff to serve drinks and handle customer orders efficiently at the bar and dining area
- Ensure all food safety and licensing standards are adhered to consistently met, including proper handling, storage, and cleanliness
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces throughout your shift
- Support team members with food prep, order assembly, and bar replenishments as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food and beverages
- Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask in a lively environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to connect with guests and colleagues alike
Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour
