Bilfinger UK are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our growing inspection team as NDT Technicians.
The role involves the deployment of non-destructive testing techniques including UT, MPI, DPI & EC and more, in both offshore and onshore settings.
A minimum IRATA Level 3 Rope Access certification is required due to the nature of access for certain inspection scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform conventional NDT inspections.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure safe and effective rope access operations (IRATA Level 3).
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
- Comply with site-specific safety and quality standards.
- Support training and mentoring of junior or developing technicians (if applicable).
- Travel to onshore, offshore, and international locations as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Valid certifications in at least some of the following: UT, MPI, DPI & EC, minimum being UT 3.1/3.2.
- IRATA Rope Access Level 3
- Strong understanding of conventional NDT methods
- Willingness to travel offshore and internationally
- Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- PCN or CSWIP certification
- Prior offshore inspection experience
- Experience with inspection software/reporting tools
