Hydraulic / Mechanical Fitter
Location: Cullompton, Devon
Pay: £20.00 per hour (£41,600 basic salary)
Overtime: Time and a Half (£30.00 per hour)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic / Mechanical Fitter to join our growing workshop team in Cullompton.
This is a permanent workshop-based position offering excellent earning potential through regular overtime, with no extensive travel or working away from home.
The Role
- Repair and refurbish hydraulic cylinders
- Strip, inspect and rebuild hydraulic components
- Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Assemble and test hydraulic equipment
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Work independently and as part of a skilled workshop team
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Hydraulic Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer or similar
- Good mechanical fault-finding skills
- Hydraulic experience preferred, but strong mechanical engineers will be considered
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work to a high standard
