Supporting Care Redbridge Ltd is seeking a reliable, organised, and professional HR Assistant to support the day-to-day human resources operations of our growing domiciliary care agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and people skills who is passionate about supporting staff and contributing to high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across all HR functions
- Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, booking interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR and company policies
- Monitor staff compliance requirements, including DBS checks, right-to-work documentation, training, and professional certifications
- Assist with preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and HR correspondence
- Support training coordination and maintain staff training records
- Handle HR-related enquiries from employees professionally and confidentially
- Assist with staff scheduling, absence monitoring, annual leave records, and personnel file management
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required by management
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Liaise with managers, staff, and external agencies where necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR, administrative, or recruitment role (health and social care experience is desirable)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Understanding of employment practices and HR processes is desirable
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
