Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Mix paints and other materials according to specifications.
- Apply paint,
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, including hand tools and power tools.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic maths calculations for measuring areas and estimating paint quantities.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in painting or a related field.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
