We are seeking an experienced, talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional environment where you can utilise your expertise in hair styling (and beauty treatments) to enhance clients’ confidence and style. A background in store management, mentoring, and upselling is highly desirable to support the growth of our salon. Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
- Deliver personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Bonus: Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and handling enquiries
- Upsell products and services to maximise client experience and salon revenue
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and industry developments
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with strong technical proficiency in colour work, styling, and barbering techniques
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively and understand their needs
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Experience in store management or team leadership is advantageous for supporting operational efficiency
- Skilled in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is desirable but not essential
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction while increasing sales
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple clients efficiently
