Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Factory Operative / Driver to join our well established team based in Little Hulton. This role offers an the opportunity to be involved in both manufacturing operations and local deliveries. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth production processes while also managing timely deliveries to our valued customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Small components parts assembly
- Diagnosing faults during assembly process
- Testing of equipment
- Packaging equipment ready for dispatch
- Working to strict deadlines
- Assist with warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and organizing stock
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle materials and products during the manufacturing process
- Making occasional local deliveries using our Long wheel based delivery van
Qualifications
- Proven delivery driver experience
- Valid clean driver’s license
- Experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for commercial vehicles
- Reliable and punctual and able to work part of a team
- Fork Lift Truck experience essential
Pay: £13.02-£13.28 per hour
