We are looking for a full time and bank support staff worker for our emergency accommodation for vulnerable people. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the business.
As the support staff you will be responsible for the smooth running in the home which specialises in supporting vulnerable adults with mental health, learning difficulties, fleeing domestic violence and abuse.
The job will be a 12-hour shift with 1-hour unpaid break for nights 7pm - 8am (including a short-paid rest period). As well as 11am-7pm for day shift work. Overtime work will be available. The job would suit someone with cleaning abilities or maintenance abilities.
Responsibility
- Abiding by company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the day/night administrative operations. Completing a night sheet and booking in any out of hours residents. Completing weekend notes and small computer jobs. Utilising emails.
- Build good working relation with tenants to deliver a high standard and an excellent quality of care to service users.
- Ability to wear many hats including support, cleaning and receptionist roles.
- Ability to work lone nights and days.
- Working directly with Team Manager in a family run organisation.
- Recognising/Reporting safeguarding concerns.
- Reporting maintenance concerns.
- There will be cleaning tasks to perform in addition to your role
- Ability to use computer for booking people in/out, report writing, handover notes and HR software.
Requirement:
- DBS check.
- Good people skills with the ability to develop relationship within the business.
- References from 2 previous employers.
