Job Purpose
As an Environmental technician your role will be varied, with no two days being the same. You will be working on various customer sites, duties to include fuel polishing, tank cleaning, accurate data recording, along with Ad hoc duties, with some overnights stays as and when required.
Main Duties
- Ensuring New Era Energy meets its legal requirements about waste through undertaking audits and accurate reporting.
- Support, advise and guide operational teams and other internal departments
- Review and implement waste management processes and procedures
- Collate, analyse and present data
- Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met within Company and legal guidelines.
- In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided.
- Working out of the Harlow depot, whilst also attending different sites / locations
Essential / Desirable candidate requirements
- Full Clean Driving License
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- An understanding of waste, recycling and consignment management systems and/or Company IT systems and Office software
- Able to undertake waste control in line with company processes
- Support in undertaking audits and site inspections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Confined Space qualification
