We're looking for a Project Engineer to deliver a high volume of Minor New Works (MNW) projects within a live manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in coordinating multiple concurrent projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget whilst maintaining operational continuity.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver multiple engineering projects from initiation through to close-out.
- Develop project documentation, including project briefs, Project Initiation Documentation (PID), project plans and risk assessments.
- Lead project delivery activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, to programme, within scope and budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and obtaining key approvals.
- Manage project risks, issues and quality requirements, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and health and safety standards.
- Monitor financial performance, project costs and programme delivery, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate internal teams and supply chain partners, providing technical guidance and maintaining delivery momentum across all workstreams.
- Experience in a Project Engineer or project delivery role within construction, facilities management or infrastructure environments.
- Experience delivering projects of varying complexity, value and risk within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Engineering or project management qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH qualification is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical awareness and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working within live operational or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
