Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care, supporting children's development, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supervise and support children during play, learning activities, mealtimes, and outdoor play.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and ensure individual needs are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's well-being and developmental goals.
- Demonstrate excellent childcare practices, including behaviour management and effective communication with children.
- Manage daily routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Experience working with children in nursery or early childhood education environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Organised with the ability to plan effectively whilst remaining flexible to meet children's needs.
- Passionate about early childhood education with a nurturing approach that promotes children's well-being and learning outcomes.
Extra Information
This is a term-time only position; however, salary is paid pro rata over 12 months, providing consistent monthly pay throughout the year.
