Student housing is fast-paced, people-focused and never dull — and we’re looking for someone brilliant to help keep it running smoothly.
As our Lettings Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the tenant journey: helping students from first enquiry to move-in day, supporting them throughout their tenancy, and making sure the important property admin is always on point. One minute you could be showing a group around their next home; the next, coordinating a maintenance job or preparing tenancy paperwork.
You’ll work closely with our Team Leader, Portfolio Manager, Reception and wider lettings team to make renting straightforward, welcoming and well organised.
What you’ll be getting stuck into
- Showing prospective tenants around their potential new home
- Keeping applications on track, including chasing guarantor details
- Preparing tenancy agreements and helpful move-in guides
- Managing check-ins, check-outs, inventories and property inspections
- Producing clear inspection and check-out reports
- Supporting deposit deduction processes
- Handling council tax administration where applicable
- Responding to initial maintenance issues, logging jobs and following up with contractors
- Helping to keep rent arrears under control, up to 14 days overdue
- Uploading expenses and making sure receipts are accurate and legible
- Keeping safety certificates and property records up to date
- Refreshing property listings on Bric with Reception
- Responding to tenant enquiries as part of the wider team
You’ll be great if you are…
- Naturally organised — you enjoy a checklist and don’t let details slip
- Proactive and confident following things through
- Friendly, professional and calm when things get busy
- A clear communicator, whether you’re speaking to students, parents, contractors or colleagues
- Comfortable working independently, while still enjoying being part of a team
- Happy with a role where no two days look exactly the same
What we offer
- A friendly, supportive team
- A varied role with genuine responsibility
- The chance to make a real difference to students’ renting experience
- Salary of £23,000–£25,000 per year, based on experience
If you’re practical, personable and ready to bring order to the wonderful chaos of student lettings, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short note telling us why you’d be a great fit.
