Parrilla Steak & Grill is an independent, award-winning steakhouse in the heart of Uttoxeter, renowned for premium steaks, exceptional service, and an unforgettable dining experience.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Grill Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in cooking high-quality food and enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
One of the unique features of Parrilla is our open kitchen, where guests can watch our chefs at work throughout service. We also cook all of our steaks over a traditional chargrill, creating the authentic flavour and finish that Parrilla is known for. Experience working with a chargrill or a willingness to learn is highly desirable.
Because our kitchen is fully visible to guests, we’re looking for someone who not only has excellent cooking skills but also takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised workstation and enjoys being part of the theatre of an open kitchen.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on a grill section, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to consistently cook steaks and other dishes to a high standard during busy services. Just as importantly, you’ll be a strong team player who is always willing to support colleagues across all sections of the kitchen when required, helping to ensure smooth service and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
