Job Summary
We are currently looking for a labourer to join our scaffold team on a chemical plant. Applicants must have experience working in high-risk industrial environments. A strong commitment to health and safety is essential.
Duties
- Assist qualified scaffolders with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding.
- Carry and load scaffolding materials such as tubes, boards, fittings, and ladders.
- Prepare work areas by clearing obstacles and setting out materials.
- Move materials around site manually or using mechanical aids.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scaffold building is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions on-site as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks.
