We are seeking a friendly and experienced Property Manager with a proactive attitude, currently engaged in a similar position, who prioritises customer service to join our Glasgow team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for property management and a desire to enhance our team's success. Applicants must be self-motivated with a demonstrated history in residential lettings, capable of providing excellent service and building successful relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. Effective time management, attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a diligent professional manner are essential.
A solid understanding of lettings legislation and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are also required.
Experience with SME Software is preferred.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
The position is located at our Westend office, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of residential properties.
· Serve as the primary contact for landlords and tenants.
· Coordinate maintenance and repair works with approved contractors.
· Handle tenant enquiries, complaints, and property-related issues promptly.
· Oversee tenancy administration, including move-ins, move-outs, and tenancy
· changes.
· Ensure compliance with relevant Scottish legislation and regulatory requirements.
· Instruct and monitor contractors, obtaining quotations where required.
· Maintain accurate property records and management systems.
· Prepare reports and updates for landlords.
· Support the wider property management team with administrative and operational tasks.
· Essential Requirements
· Previous experience in residential property management, lettings, housing, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of customer service principles.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Full UK driving licence and own car
Desirable Requirements
· Knowledge of Scottish residential tenancy legislation, including the Scottish
Government Private Residential Tenancy framework.
· Experience using property management software.
· Relevant property, housing, or customer service qualifications.
Experience
· Residential Lettings & Property Management: At least 2 years (required)
ARLA Level 6 (or equivalent) Scottish Residential Letting & Property Management qualification preferred, however, training can be provided to achieve the qualification.
