We are seeking an experienced and driven Flooring Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong flooring industry knowledge and proven project management experience to oversee multiple flooring contracts across commercial and residential projects.
About the Role
As Flooring Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing flooring projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will liaise with clients, site managers, fitters, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple flooring contracts simultaneously
- Organise labour, materials, and site schedules
- Conduct site visits and attend progress meetings
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally
- Monitor project costs and variations
- Support estimating and planning where required
Requirements
- Previous experience within the flooring industry
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential flooring installations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with carpet, vinyl, LVT, wood, and safety flooring
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- CSCS card holder
