We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant (Multi-Skilled) to join our busy branch team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll spend time serving customers on the trade counter, supporting the yard team and handling stock. Whether you're helping a tradesperson find the right materials, or loading a vehicle safely, you'll play an important part in creating a great customer experience.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing a great job and is happy to get involved wherever they're needed. If you're someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team and providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be the friendly face of the branch, helping customers from the moment they arrive through to loading their purchases and ensuring they leave with everything they need. You'll support the sales team by identifying opportunities, promoting products and services, and building lasting relationships with customers.
Alongside your branch duties, you'll also complete multi-drop deliveries in one of our company vans, ensuring orders are delivered safely, on time and in full. You'll carry out daily vehicle checks, follow all transport and health and safety procedures, and represent Bradfords professionally wherever you go.
You'll also help with receiving deliveries, checking stock, merchandising products, maintaining high housekeeping standards and ensuring the branch operates safely and efficiently every day.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about providing outstanding customer service. You'll be a confident communicator with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the flexibility to support different areas of the branch.
While experience in builders' merchants, retail or warehouse would be beneficial, it's not essential as full training will be provided.
