Connect to your opportunity
As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering strategy work for our clients day-to-day. While neither of these projects are the same, you will typically be responsible for leading analysis and insight for a small workstream or small project where methodology is repeatable, and for producing high-quality, client-ready outputs with support from more senior team members.
You will contribute to the development of structured, evidence-based recommendations, own sections of client deliverables, and help shape clear storylines and messages. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders, support day-to-day project delivery, help manage timelines and risks, and build trusted working relationships through high-quality work and professional communication.
In addition to client delivery, you will contribute to business development and practice development activity, including supporting bids, internal initiatives and team operations. You will also support the development of junior team members and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
Client engagements are predominantly with organisations facing important, often profound, transitions. Engagements are often sponsored by senior client stakeholders and may range from focused pieces of work through to broader transformation programmes. We bring rigorous, evidence-based analytical capability to help clients solve complex issues and deliver value through pragmatic recommendations.
Our approach is to work collaboratively with clients to understand the forces driving change, identify opportunities, and help them develop and deliver solutions across their organisation.
As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
-
Delivery of high-quality outputs: delivering high-quality, client-ready outputs that communicate analysis, insight and recommendations clearly and accurately.
-
Problem structuring: structuring components of a client problem, developing hypotheses with direction from senior team members, and helping to shape the storyboard and overall narrative for deliverables.
-
Analysis and insight generation: conducting rigorous research and analysis, synthesizing information from multiple sources, and developing evidence-based insights and recommendations.
-
Deliverable development: owning sections of client deliverables and preparing them to a high standard, proactively incorporating feedback and anticipating deadlines.
-
Communication: communicating analysis and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal form, contributing confidently to internal and client discussions, and presenting work in a structured and logical way.
-
Client engagement: supporting day-to-day client communication for assigned workstreams, responding effectively to client questions, and helping to manage client expectations in a professional manner.
-
Project management: planning and managing your own work effectively, identifying and escalating risks or issues, and supporting the team to deliver work on time and to a high standard.
-
Team contribution: supporting, mentoring and helping to develop junior team members on projects and business development activity.
-
Business development: contributing to business development through supporting or leading bids and building an effective internal network across the team and wider firm.
-
Practice development: contributing to internal practice initiatives and team operations and increasingly taking ownership of defined practice development activities.
-
Sector and proposition development: developing expertise in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector, building understanding of key trends and challenges, and contributing to the team’s knowledge base and market perspectives.
-
Quality, risk and integrity: identifying emerging project risks, escalating issues where needed, and taking ownership of relevant areas of compliance processes accurately.
