Purpose of Role
To provide support across finance, administration and business support activities, ensuring routine processes are completed accurately, consistently and on time.
The role will provide resilience during periods of absence whilst creating additional capacity for operational review, reporting, process improvement and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Administration
- Raise and process sales invoices (when required)
- Assist with credit control activities and debtor follow-up.
- Process purchase invoices and supplier statements (when required).
- Assist with bank, supplier and customer reconciliations (when required).
- Maintain customer and supplier records (when required).
- Support month-end and year-end finance activities.
- Assist with management information preparation.
Business Administration
- General administration and data entry (when required).
- Maintain electronic filing systems and business records (when required).
- Assist with compliance and accreditation administration.
- Assist with training and personnel administration (when required).
- Support operational administration activities.
- Prepare routine reports and management information.
Process Operation
- Operate established finance and administration processes.
- Follow documented workflows and procedures.
- Identify process exceptions and escalate where appropriate.
- Assist with maintaining data quality and record accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Measures of Success
- Timely completion of finance and administration processes.
- Accurate and reliable records.
- Reduction in overdue administration tasks.
- Improved process consistency.
Experience & Skills Profile
Essential Experience
- Previous Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Administration experience.
- Experience of working with financial records and transactions.
- Experience of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience of working accurately with attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- Good numerical ability.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of Xero.

- Experience using Power Query or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with process documentation.
