About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised and confident Pharmacy Dispenser / Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy community pharmacy in Ancoats, Manchester City Centre.
The position will initially be for 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours following successful completion of the probationary period, subject to performance, reliability and being a suitable fit within the team.
We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently with patients and colleagues and takes pride in providing an efficient and professional pharmacy service.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Supporting the pharmacist with the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
- Serving patients and providing excellent customer service
- Processing prescriptions using the pharmacy PMR system
- Managing prescription queries and liaising with patients where required
- Supporting stock management and general pharmacy duties
- Maintaining an organised, professional and efficient working environment
- Working effectively as part of the wider pharmacy team

Previous community pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
Experience using Titan PMR is highly desirable, although training can be provided to the right candidate.
A pharmacy dispensing qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, would also be advantageous.
Hours & Progression
The successful candidate will initially work 20 hours per week.
There will be an opportunity to increase to full-time hours for a candidate who demonstrates strong performance, reliability and is a suitable fit within the pharmacy team.
