Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Cook to join our team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food in a welcoming environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all food safety standards are maintained while delivering excellent service to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Serve meals to guests efficiently and courteously
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
- Some experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a catering environment but confident home-cooks are also welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and serve guests courteously
- Experience in meal preparation, kitchen operations, and serving is desirable
- Availability to work every weekend, 8:30am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
