Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, preventing unauthorised access, and providing assistance when necessary. This role requires a confident presence, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding all individuals on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorised access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors
- Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
- Manage crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring order is maintained
- Record incidents accurately in detailed reports for future reference or investigations
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required to handle incidents effectively
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- First aid certification is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations confidently
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and manage potentially confrontational situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required
