Buston and Maughan are seeking a motivated and hardworking Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction-related tasks, contributing maintenance, site preparation, and general upkeep. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Assisting with clearing out old kitchens and bathrooms amongst other things
- Clearing of properties within social housing
- Helping multi-skilled trades (joiners, plumbers, plasterers) with heavy lifting, material transport, and basic prep work
- Patch painting, basic filling, and shifting fixtures under instruction
Requirements and Skills
- Physical Fitness -Capability to carry out heavy lifting, manual labor
- A clean UK driving license is often essential for using the company van
- Ability to interact politely and respectfully with the general public.
- Understanding basic on-site health and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in social housing or construction maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge or experience with maintenance equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Pay: £13.50-£13.70 per hour
