Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Painter/Labourer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing machinery and metal components while supporting various labour tasks within the production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in fabrication, assembly, and maintenance, contributing to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a strong work ethic to ensure high-quality results and efficient workflow.
On site training will be given if required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare machinery and metal parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes accurately using spray guns or brushes in accordance with safety standards and specifications.
- Support fabrication and assembly tasks by handling materials, assisting with welding or cutting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the production process.
- Assist with general labour duties including loading/unloading materials, stacking items, and supporting team members in various production activities.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.5 per week
