Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with their optical needs, including frame selection and fitting.
- Prepare and maintain optical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper calibration for accurate testing.
- Support optometrists during eye examinations by preparing instruments and recording patient information.
- Manage patient appointments efficiently, confirming schedules and providing clear instructions.
- Maintain detailed records of patient prescriptions, lens orders, and inventory levels.
- Assist in laboratory tasks such as lens cutting, edging, and assembly to ensure timely delivery of eyewear.
- Provide product knowledge on lenses, frames, and accessories to help patients make informed choices.
Qualifications
- Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with optical equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to the eye, to assist with patient care accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and record keeping.
