We are looking for a determined and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic production team located in London. The Finisher/Packer role requires someone with a good eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, who takes initiative when having to adapt to change and keeps calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing finishing processes to produce high-quality printed materials, as well as packing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment.
You will be part of a dedicated friendly team reporting directly to the Factory Manager, so this is an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to enhance their career within the Print Industry and gain experience working in an ambitious, forward-thinking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Bench Work
- Packing & Distribution
- Using internal booking/despatch systems throughout job cycles
Advantageous to have experience in:
- Folding
- Laminating
- To operate Creasing Machines
- Machine & Manual Print Finishing
- Booklet-Making
- Wiro binding
- Maintaining the highest standard of work
Skills needed and Requirements:
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer & technical skills
- A flexible attitude within the workplace
- A reasonable standard of Maths and English
- Able to keep to up with the fast-paced environment
- Experience in print finishing/packing is an advantage, but not required as full training will be provided
