The Role
As a Vehicle Transport Driver, you will be an integral part of our growing team, representing Frontline Solutions Group while delivering a premium vehicle transport service.
Operating a modern 5.2-tonne Iveco vehicle transporter with a Brian James trailer, you will be responsible for collecting, loading, transporting, and delivering vehicles safely throughout the UK.
Every vehicle must be treated with exceptional care, ensuring it arrives in the same condition it was collected.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect, load, secure, transport, and deliver vehicles throughout the UK.
- Transport prestige, classic, performance, fleet, dealership, auction, and new vehicles with the highest level of care.
- Complete detailed pre-collection and post-delivery vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all transport paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
- Plan efficient routes while meeting collection and delivery schedules.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and the operations team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the transport process.
- Ensure full compliance with road traffic legislation, driver regulations, and company policies.
- Carry out daily safety checks on the transporter and trailer, reporting any defects promptly.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and presentable vehicle and trailer at all times.
- Represent Frontline Solutions Group professionally, maintaining the company's reputation for quality and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- A professional driver with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles, vehicle transporters, or trailers.
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle loading, securing, and safe transportation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in handling vehicles with care.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining reliable and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, professional attitude with a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Basic mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within vehicle logistics, transport, recovery, or military operations is desirable but not essential.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle combination.
