Street Teams is looking for a passionate and dedicated Male Exploitation Support Worker to join our team supporting children and young people at risk of exploitation and other harms outside the home.

- Build trusting relationships with young people using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
- Complete assessments, develop support plans and maintain accurate case records.
- Work closely with families, schools, social care, police and other partner agencies to improve outcomes.
- Deliver awareness sessions and preventative interventions where appropriate.
- Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to safeguarding plans.
- Advocate for young people, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children and young people with complex needs or vulnerabilities.
- Has a good understanding of child exploitation, contextual safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
- Is able to build positive professional relationships with young people who may be reluctant to engage.
- Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Can work independently whilst contributing positively to a supportive team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle for work purposes.
At Street Teams, we believe that lived experience can be a powerful asset in supporting children, young people and families. We welcome applications from people with relevant lived experience, including those who have overcome adversity or have personal insight into the challenges faced by the young people we support. We are committed to building a diverse workforce where different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds are recognised, valued and respected.
