The Skipton Hotel is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Casual Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team. If you take pride in maintaining high standards, enjoy working as part of a friendly team, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Casual Room Attendant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Working on a flexible, casual basis, you'll help maintain the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
- Change bed linen and replenish towels and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, and clean all assigned areas thoroughly.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly.
- Ensure public areas are clean and presentable when required.
- Follow health and safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of the housekeeping team.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Ability to work weekends, bank holidays, and during busy periods.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a physically active role.
