Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of a single-unit residential refurbishment project in Epsom, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing & co-ordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, reviewing design information and liaising with design consultants, ensuring the project is delivered in line with the programme. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate trades & subcontractors, and require good general building & refurbishment knowledge.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sub-contractors to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed in line with the programme.
- Have ample knowledge of heath & safety legislation and good general building knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, complete daily site diaries, ensure signing-in records are up to date, complete quality assurance paperwork at each stages of the build (e.g. closing-up walls & ceilings etc.)
- Have the ability to snag works at each stage, and ensure any non-compliant work is put right before offering up to the Architect/ Client.
Requirements
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT Skills (Email, MS Word, Excel)
- Ability to read an understand architectural drawings
- Have an eye for quality and understand minimal standards
- Reliable, punctual, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £225.00-£275.00 per day
