We are looking for Head Cook at St Swithuns Primary School, to provide meals using provided recipes, ensure consistency and quality, and cater to children with allergies.
TERM TIME ONLY - 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (maternity cover)
strong possibility of a perm contract.
27.5 hours per week
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Have the ability to cook lovely children’s friendly meals
- Good leader as well as ream player
- Maintain the food cost within the unit.
- Ensure the health & safety and Food safety is follow all the time
- Cooking food with fresh ingredients.
- Supervision and training of general kitchen assistant.
- Responsible for ordering the food
- Have a good working relationship with client and Fresh Start team
The role is offered on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday, term time only, and is subject to the applicant’s eligibility to work in the UK and a successful enhanced DBS clearance.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
